What you want to know.

This is my blog about the stuff I love to talk about, which includes food, drinks, family and fashion.  It is ever expanding as my ideas and interest change.  It was originally two different blogs that I have combined into one.  So below are about pages from my other blog.

Weight loss blog:

I love food. I do love exercise as well, but not as much as I love food. That is the problem. This is my daily/weekly blog about the ups and downs of my life and weight.

When I got engaged in December of 2001 I was at 163. I joined Weight Watchers and before my wedding in May 2003 I was down to 133.

When I left my husband in February of 2006 I dropped down to 125ish, and then when I started dating my current wonderful and very sexy husband I shot way way up to 165.I got down to about 157 when I found out I was pregnant with a wonderful bundle of joy.

Xander was born on Christmas eve 2008 and this is my journey back to being a fit and healthy woman.  Hopefully soon to be skinny too!

I am currently following the South Beach Diet and exercising to lose weight.  It works if I work it. I am back on Weight Watchers and it’s going well. I need to loose another 20lbs to recover from both pregnancies and another 15ish to be at a healthy weight.

Mothering Blog:

I am a mom two little boys, Xander born on Christmas eve 2008 and Oliver born November 2010.  I started learning about a more natural approach to life thought one simple concept that happened when I discovered I was pregnant.  That thought was, “I just don’t want to be cut, I don’t want a C-section.”
Xander and I
From there, I joined several online communities and stared devouring all information about alternatives to not only childbirth but to raising a child and just being simpler in lifestyle.

I had an natural childbirth at a hospital birth center and one at home, I tandem nurse and currently practice baby lead weaning, we cloth diaper, practice gentle discipline .  I have been married since August 2008 to an awesome geeky, sexy man.

Please feel free to join in the conversation!
